Pricing

The tool that runs in your browser is free and will stay free. It costs us nothing: there is no server processing your videos. What you pay for is the identity of the document and the administration of a team — never the quality of the evidence.

Everything it does, and on which plan

92 features, and the list is honest: only what already exists gets in. Notice how much sits in Free — the browser tool is free and will stay free, because it costs us no server.

92 features in all. 71 of them are on the free plan and carry no mark below; the 21 paid ones are marked with their plan. Each group folds open and shut.

Where the video comes from8
  • A video file, dragged or picked
  • Record the screen right there — the video is discarded at the end
  • Switch the shared window mid-recording
  • Webcam face in a corner, 4 positions and 3 sizes
  • Open a video from Google Drive
  • Reopen a document you already made (.json or .zip) and carry on
  • Merge several sessions into a single document
  • Paste or attach a loose image as a step
How the frames get picked10
  • Screen-change detection, sensitivity 1 to 9
  • Or N frames spread out, or one every X seconds
  • Frame cap and a from/to stretch
  • Ignore the top or bottom strip when detecting
  • Mark the moment while recording (M key)
  • Pause and resume without cutting the document (P key)
  • A 3-count before it starts
  • Auto-stop after N minutes
  • Floating control: clock, both channel meters and buttons
  • A 15 s video clip around each marked moment
The speech9
  • Transcription on your device — the audio never leaves your machine
  • Three model sizes, and GPU acceleration where available
  • Portuguese, English, Spanish or automatic detection
  • Microphone and computer sound kept apart, and renameable
  • Fix the speech stretch by stretch, in the frame's lens
  • Your domain's vocabulary, applied in one go
  • Strip fillers ("um…", "like", "you know")
  • Paste a ready-made caption (.srt, .vtt or plain text)
  • Translate in the browser itself, where it can
Fixing the document up12
  • Lens: the step big enough to check, in 4 sizes
  • Redact what is sensitive — and the redaction is burned into the image
  • A warning for sensitive data spotted on screen, redacted in one click
  • Highlight with a box, an arrow or a pen, in three colours
  • Crop to the area that matters, and undo
  • Duplicate a frame, or replace a step's image
  • Compare two frames overlaid, with the difference in red
  • Fix a frame's instant and clock time
  • Chapters: one recording becomes several cases, each with its own time
  • Guided review: walks step by step and recaptures only what changed
  • Read the text on screen (OCR) for search and automatic redaction
  • Drop duplicates, drop the silent ones, keep only the marked ones
What comes out15
  • PDF, in A4 or Letter
  • Word (.docx), editable
  • PowerPoint (.pptx), one slide per step
  • A single-file HTML, images inside
  • Markdown, to paste wherever your team writes
  • A SCORM 1.2 package for the LMS (in the step-by-step)
  • A spreadsheet (.csv), one row per step
  • JSON with everything, to reopen or for another system to read
  • A ZIP with numbered images, the index and the clips
  • One document per task, in a ZIP (with 2+ chapters)
  • A multi-language package in one go (HTML and Markdown)
  • Caption as .vtt, .srt or .txt
  • Send straight to Google Docs (asks first)
  • A wiki-markup summary, ready to paste into Jira
  • A ready-made prompt to paste into an AI

Five different documents6
  • Test evidence: result, environment, clock time and a hash per image
  • Work instruction: process owner, version and no date stamp
  • Meeting minutes: attendees, place and the moments that matter
  • Usability session: moderator and participant, and each moment's type
  • Context for AI: ~60 screens instead of 3,600, with the speech paired
  • Frame label of your choosing: Step, Stretch, Moment…
What makes the evidence stick5

  • A licence that renews itself, with no key to paste only on Personal
What never leaves your machine4
  • The video, the audio, the transcript and the document
  • The screen recording is discarded — only frames and speech remain
  • Works with the internet switched off, once the page has loaded
  • No sign-up required to use any of it

Still no server, paid plans included. The key is checked inside your browser and works offline — we never receive your video or your audio, on any plan. On the paid plans there is exactly one thing you can choose to store in your account: the complete file of a session, attached by you to a case in your test run, and deletable at any time. How that works underneath.

Pro and API — converting formats the browser refuses (HEVC, MKV, ProRes), transcribing on a server, batch processing, or an endpoint that returns frames and transcript for your own product to consume. None of it exists yet, and it is what comes next. Tell me your case — that is how I decide the order.

Two honesties about this page. Anything marked soon does not exist yet: it is listed because it is what I am going to build, and whoever joins now helps decide the order and keeps this page’s price forever. And the free plan will not lose features as the paid ones grow — the cut line is fixed: privacy and the quality of the evidence never sit behind a payment.

Want to be told?

Leave an email and I will tell you when the paid plan is out. One message, not a newsletter.

The promise of this tool is that your video never leaves your machine, and it still holds: this field has nothing to do with what you process here — the browser sends no video, audio or transcript anywhere. The email sits in a database of mine, is not sold, does not go to any third-party list, and disappears the day you ask. Rather not leave it? No problem — the tool does not change because of that.

Why the free plan has no catch

It is a fair question: a free tool usually charges somewhere else — data, ads, or a limit that shows up at the worst moment. Here the reason is simpler: your video is processed by your own computer, so the cost of serving you is close to zero. There is nothing to subsidise, and therefore nothing to recover later.
